Snuf is an underground online community where users create and share extremely graphic and violent content, often featuring teenagers in compromising and deadly situations. The site's users are obsessed with the thrill of witnessing and participating in these twisted scenarios, which range from faked executions to torture and even murder.

Lily realizes she's trapped in a nightmare from which she can't escape. The more she tries to resist, the more the Snuf administrators seem to control her. Desperate for help, she turns to a rebellious outsider, an enigmatic hacker known only by his handle "Zero Cool."
